I created this shoe concept as an accessory to my beauty project in 2019-21. It was designed to represent the wearer as an individual who has undertaken an immense amount of pain for the purpose of aesthetics. I think it could be quite a powerful image and so I have tried to engineer it to be a wearable piece by having it partially comprised of laser cut acrylic to resemble shards of glass to provide a wearable structure. This piece was intended for completion in 2020 and was put on pause for the Covid-19 pandemic, however I still have intentions to realise this concept.
